Learn the basics of WikiText in order to format your pages.
The Image and Other File Upload page shows you how to add images and other files to your documentation. One thing to remember is that you can add your image or file code first and then when you view the page, clicking on the link will bring you to the file upload page (if you are logged in). This is really easy once you do it the first time.
The For Editors section of the User's Guide is particularly helpful for other questions you might have.
Remember Wikis allow you to edit any page. So to see how existing pages are coded click edit and look at the code.
